Welcome to Lazy Dog Rentals! 

Alyssa & Cole are so excited to share their home in Blue Lake Springs, Arnold. Cole has been coming up to Arnold since he was a kid. He always talks about how much fun he had swimming at the lake with his cousins throughout the years. Since then, we have enjoyed the hiking, wine tasting, and relaxation that Arnold brings. We hope people love the serenity & beauty of the Sierras as much as us!

The Property.

Alyssa and Cole's home in Arnold features the following: 

  • 3-level, cabin on the eastern side of the Blue Lake Springs community
  • 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms with an additional loft and lower level that feature sleeping areas
  • 8 beds (1 king in each bedroom, 4 twins in loft, 1 queen & 1 full in lower level)
  • 2 living rooms (1 on main level, 1 in lower level)
  • flat driveway with parking for 4 cars

The Amenities.

The cabin is located within the Blue Lake Springs community, which offers the following facility amenities for guests:

*Note: The facilities are open to renters from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Guests will be charged a fee and need to present their ID and renters card (located at the cabin).*

  • Tennis Courts (4) 
  • Bocce (1) and Shuffleboard (1) 
  • Corn Hole 
  • Ping Pong Tables (3) and Foosball (1) 
  • Horseshoe Pits (2) 
  • Pickle Ball (four courts) 
  • Exercise Room (Release of liability must be on file) 
  • Beach Volleyball (Lodge Lake) 
  • Basketball (half court) behind upper tennis courts 
  • Play Yard (behind Lodge deck) 
  • Snack Bar/Snowflake Lodge 
  • Restaurant Pool Shop: Selling ice cream, drinks, pool toys and shirts. 
  • Lodge and Fly-In Lakes 
  • BBQ Stations to reserve for a fee Fly-in Lake: Beach Volleyball, horseshoes, frisbee golf

The Activities.

In an ideal location with the following activities close by:

  • Big Trees State Park: A great place to enjoy the beauty of the Sierras. Choose to walk one of the many hiking trails, or simply enjoy the giant sequoias. (10 min. drive)
  • Murphys: Check out the quaint downtown of Murphys to experience great restaurants, tasting rooms, and shopping. (25 min. drive)
  • Bear Valley: In the winter, have fun snowboarding or cross-country skiing. During the summer, bring or rent a mountain bike to enjoy some time in the sun. (35 min. drive)
  • Caverns: Take a tour through Mercer or Moaning caverns to discover the awe-inspiring underground rock formations. (30 min drive to Mercer Caverns, 33 min drive to Moaning Caverns)
  • Lake Alpine: A great place to swim, paddle board, kayak, fish, or hike during the summer months. (30 min. drive)
